Bears Bees + Brews

The Center for Honeybee Research is a proud fiscal sponsor for the environmental education project Bears Bees + Brews. Bears Bees + Brews events and programs are designed to entertain, enrich and engage the Asheville-area community to help inspire compassion for wildlife and raise awareness to keep this botanically diverse region healthy and protected.

Bears Bees + Brews Festival is held during fall, and is designed to bring the community together with local wildlife experts, advocates, and organizations in a family-friendly setting. The festival’s purpose is to elevate the public’s esteem for, and working knowledge of, wildlife, pollinators, and habitat conservation. In addition to educational opportunities, the event also features exceptional live music and locally-produced food and beverages.

Bears Bees + Brews programs are designed to educate and empower the public on the importance of maintaining, preserving and protecting the splendid land and habitat that surrounds this region and beyond.
