Terri Lechner

Board Member

Dr Terri Lechner is an experienced beekeeper with over eight years of hands-on expertise, making her a valuable member of the Center for Honeybee Research Advisory Board. She also serves on BeeCityUSA Asheville’s  Leadership Committee, reflecting her deep commitment to protecting pollinators and promoting ecological health. In addition to her beekeeping and advocacy work, she is a dedicated gardener and has been practicing chiropractic care for 20 years in Asheville, where she relocated after graduating from Palmer Chiropractic College.

Outside of her professional life, Dr Terri is a proud pet guardian to her dogs and cats, an enthusiastic “chicken momma,” and a passionate collector of antique and vintage treasures. Through her shop, Vintage Trove Shop, she resells her curated finds at Altamont Vintage Antiques in Asheville and on Instagram. Her love for nature, community, and timeless items continues to shape her contributions to both the pollinator community and her local area.

The Center for Honeybee Research is a charitable educational, research organization founded in 2011 to collect objective data in an open-sourced, non-proprietary platform for the benefit of researchers, beekeepers, and policy makers — to ensure the survival of the honeybee.
